Meet Rachel
The consummate professional, Rachel White is known for her client-focused approach. She brings her refined taste, discerning eye, flair for research and keen market understanding to all of her transactions. Her real estate clients can expect nothing less than a knowledgeable, resourceful, detail-oriented partner to support them in every aspect of the buying and selling process. Her accomplished business background encompassed a prominent 20-year career in luxury goods, and over 15 years in the financial services arena before that. In 1998, Rachel founded one of the earliest online businesses dedicated to the resale of exclusive, rare and collectible jewelry and handbags. Acting as a private consultant and broker, she sold rare gems and one-of-a-kind handbags to her discerning clientele, with her expertise recognized in many fashion magazines. Her superior service skills, savvy negotiating, and sharp eye for quality and fine design set her apart in the real estate industry.
Rachel additionally has a fondness for technology and social media, and maintains a significant presence on all the major platforms on a daily basis. This native New Yorker attended college in Boston and has called Manhattan home for over 30 years. Rachel currently resides in a co-op on the Upper East Side with her husband, daughter, and Cocker Spaniel-Basset Hound, Sugar. She previously lived in Carnegie Hill, Chelsea and Long Island, and is a lifelong Hamptonite. Having bought, sold and renovated her own homes, she still loves a good apartment redo!
Outside of real estate, Rachel is an avid runner who has completed over 15 Half Marathons. She is a passionate jewelry lover, yogi and world traveler as well. Her other interests include cooking, reading, and learning about interior design, architecture, history, and homes of the Gilded Age.
